Description
A spring meadow is the setting for this fine oak tree. Photographed on Konica Infra-red film which captures light beyond the normal visible spectrum. The film creates an ethereal magical quality of light reflected from the tree. I’ve printed a ‘negative’ image onto the coasters which contrasts well with the gloss black background.
The image has been composed in camera as a single photograph and printed as four separate images onto individual drinks coasters. Printed onto high quality smooth tempered glass gives the photograph a wonderful sense of depth reminiscent of the 19th century glass plate photography process.
